La CSCAD s’exprime dans le Financial Times

Bruno Blanckaert, president of the CSCAD union for clubs, theatres and bars in Paris, says business from tourists is down 80 per cent this season, which is particularly bad because the period accounts for 20-30 per cent of annual revenues.

At the same time, the sector is having to spend as much as 30 per cent more on security.

“We need the extra security because we need to reassure people, who are still a bit jumpy,” Mr Blanckaert says. “If they don’t feel confident, if they start sweating, they don’t have a good time and they won’t come back.”
